Golf Marshal

The Municipal District of Opportunity is seeking an individual to work at the Eagle Point Golf Course in the position of Golf Marshal. The Golf Marshal will follow direction of the Manager of Golf Course/Arena and work as a team with the Pro-Shop staff that will meet or exceed the level of service required by Manager of Golf Course/Arena.

The Golf Course Marshal’s primary role is to provide an enjoyable golfing experience. This will be achieved by obtaining an understanding of the game of golf, performing work related duties and sincerely caring. Thus, enabling the Golf Marshal to provide regular on course patron observation, ensure proper behavior on the golf course, regular inspection of putting greens, maintain patron pace of golfing play, monitor weather conditions for golfer safety and other duties as required. Ensure all patrons enjoy a fun yet safe visit to the Eagle Point Golf Course.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be reliable and dependable.
• Must be able to work flexible scheduled shifts.
• Must be a team player with an easy going and approachable attitude.
• Must be physically fit and enjoy working outdoors.
• Must be motivated and willing to learn.
• Must have good communication skills.

Assets: Knowledge of golf, conflict resolution skills, First Aid, driver’s license.
