Cook Positions

The Municipal District of Opportunity is seeking to fill Temporary Full-Time Cook positions at the Eagle Point Golf Course in Wabasca. The ideal candidates should be outgoing and energetic people person with demonstrated skills in their area of work, who are self-starters and team oriented. The successful individuals will help deliver a high-quality service and meet provincial AHS Standards.

Primary responsibilities are:

• Prepare and serve meals daily
• Maintain food inventory and place food orders as scheduled
• Clear, clean, and sanitize work areas
• Adhere to provincial health and safety standards for food handling and storage
• Ensure the facility complies with AGLC licensing requirements
• This position requires lifting and other manual tasks
• Work 5 days per week (on a 7-day shift rotation), which include mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends

Qualifications required:

• Food Handling certificate(s)
• Minimum of one year cooking experience
• First Aid Certificate (other safety tickets are considered assets)
• Knowledge in the proper use and maintenance of kitchen equipment
• Satisfactory Criminal Record Check upon hire.
