The MD of Opportunity offers driveway snow removal for seniors 65 years of age or older, free of charge!
Seniors will need to sign a Snow Plow Agreement form and must call the Public Works office each time the service is needed.

Senior Citizen Utility Exemption Grant
The MD also offers utility exemption grants for qualified senior citizens, 65 years of age or older. You must be residing on the property and be the titled owner.
Senior Citizen Municipal Property Tax Rebate
Individuals meeting the eligibility requirements may apply for the rebate up to a maximum of $500. An individual may only apply for the tax rebate for their primary residence. No more than one rebate will be granted per residential property.
