If so, the MD of Opportunity is currently recruiting one (1) volunteer to serve as member at large on the Greater North Foundation Board.

Board Duties

This board works with the appropriate regional housing authority to administer the senior citizen lodges and housing in Athabasca, Boyle and Lac La Biche. MD of Opportunity is involved with the committee as Calling Lake falls within their district and some MD of Opportunity residents use their lodges/homes. This board also requisitions our MD of Opportunity for operational funding.

This committee calls for a “member at large” . The member will report to the MD of Opportunity, as needed.

The board meets regularly throughout the year. Meetings are held at alternate locations: Athabasca, Boyle and Lac La Biche.
