Early Childhood Educators

The Municipal District of Opportunity is seeking to fill a permanent full-time and casual positions at the Opportunity Daycare in Red Earth Creek, AB. The ideal candidate should be outgoing and energetic with demonstrated skills in their area of work, who are self-starters and team oriented. The successful individual will help create and deliver a high-quality early learning childcare service that meets MD policy as well as provincial Childcare Licensing.

Primary responsibilities are to:

• Provide childcare services by actively engaging in the supervision, care and development of children;
• Provide a safe and nurturing environment;
• Ensure the well-being of each and every child in the childcare program;
• Promote early learning programming and age-appropriate developmental activities.

Qualifications required:

• Child Development Certification Level 1, 2 and or 3;
• Valid Class 5 Drivers License and reliable transportation;
• Child First Aid and/or Standard First Aid certificate;
• A current satisfactory Criminal Record Check and Child Youth Intervention Check must be provided upon to hire.
