Labourer

The MD of Opportunity is now accepting resumes to fill a permanent full-time laborer position. The laborer position will focus on duties related to the Public Works Department in Wabasca under the general direction of the Lead-hand.

The successful candidate will be responsible for various miscellaneous duties such as; repair/replace road signs, road repairs, grass cutting in summer and shoveling walkways in the winter, minor maintenance other duties that are assigned by the Supervisor.

The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications:

• Valid Class 5 Drivers License.
• Class 3 would be an asset.
• Valid safety tickets would be an asset including power saw safety.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision.
• Satisfactory Criminal Record Check upon hire.
