The MD of Opportunity and Bigstone Cree Nation will be providing funding for athletes participating in the 2025 Alberta Indigenous Games. 

Athletes must reside within the hamlet boundaries of the MD of Opportunity, or be a Bigstone Cree Nation member to qualify for this funding. Athletes will receive a one time payment of $400 regardless of how many spots they are registered for.

Team fees will also be covered or reimbursed.
