The Calling Lake Municipal Campground is open early May through Thanksgiving weekend, offering overnight camping for tents and trailers. Bathrooms have flush toilets and sinks with non-potable running water (no showers). The park also has lake access, including a boat launch and beach with a designated swimming area within walking distance of the campgrounds.

The Wabasca-Desmarais Lions Club Camp Ground

Located on North Wabasca Lake. Travel north on Mistassiniy Road from the 4-way stop that connects Highway 754 (from Slave Lake) and Highway 813 (from Athabasca). Follow until you reach the 3-way stop, and turn north onto Lakeview Drive for 13kms.

Fees must be paid to the attendant as you arrive (located at the log house beside the entrance gates. The attendants live on site throughout the summer, however, if an attendant is not on site, please choose an empty site and they will visit at a later time to collect fees.

Tanasiuk Rock Island Lake Campground

Tanasiuk is located on Highway 813, approximately 35 kms north of Calling Lake, offering wooded, unserviced sites available on a first come first serve basis (no reservations available). Campers may pre-order wood ($5 for 10 pieces) by following directions at the registration box. Note that although deliveries usually occur in the evening, it’s best to bring some wood with you to get you through your first night.

Picturesquely located along Peerless Lake, 5 kms outside of the Peerless Lake community heading towards Trout Lake, the Peerless Campground offers rustic, non-serviced camping with 15 sites set in amongst trees.
Trout Lake Campground

The Trout Lake Campground is located at the narrows between Graham Lake and Trout Lake. The campground is non-serviced and located immediately after a small bridge that crosses the narrows between the communities of Peerless Lake and Trout Lake. The camping area is an open grassy field offering plenty of space for picnicking, play, and fantastic group camping (fire rings and outhouses are also provided), while a small boat can access both Peerless Lake and Graham Lake from the boat launch.
