CASUAL LIFEGUARD POSITION

The Municipal District of Opportunity is currently seeking dynamic, team-oriented and self-motivated individuals to fill a casual position of Lifeguard for the Wabasca Water World & Fitness Centre. The incumbent will be responsible for lifeguarding on deck.

• Training will be provided if the right candidate(s) is selected for the casual lifeguard position.
• Must be 16 years or older.
• Bronze Cross and Bronze Medallion Certification.
• NL Certification (National Lifeguard).
• Must have Standard First Aid for Lifeguard training.
• Water Safety Instructor qualification an asset.
• LSI (Lifesaving Instructor) qualification an asset.
• Knowledge of Red Cross swim programs.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• High energy level and enjoy working in a fast paced, challenging and changing environment.
• Ability to work effectively with the public in a courteous, efficient & professional manner.
• Ability to obtain a satisfactory Criminal Record Check and Child Intervention Check upon hire.
