NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
BYLAW No. 2016 - 13
TAKE NOTICE that pursuant to Section 191 of the Municipal Government Act, C. M26 as amended, the Municipal District of Opportunity No. 17 intends to hold a Public Hearing in consideration of an application for rezoning.
Bylaw 2016 - 13, being a Bylaw of the Municipal District of Opportunity No.17 in the Province of Alberta, proposes the amendment of the Land Use District designation of the particular location listed below and indicated on the accompanying map
To rezone the portion of the land shown in the above map, within Plan 082 0340, Block A, Lot 7, located at 956 Noel Drive, Wabasca, from C1 – Commercial District to C3 – Commercial district.
At 1:30 p.m. on September 14th, 2016 the Council of the Municipal District of Opportunity No. 17 will hold a PUBLIC HEARING to be held in the Council Chambers of the Municipal District of Opportunity No. 17 Administration Building in Wabasca, at which time objections or comments from the public regarding the proposed Rezoning may be presented.
Written submissions may be provided to the Council during the Public Hearing. However, it is requested that a copy of any written submission be delivered to the Office of the Municipal District’s Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) by 4:00 p.m. of September 13th, 2016, in order to ensure that each member of the Council has a copy of the written submissions for the Public Hearing.

Copies of the proposed rezoning may be reviewed and inspected and/or purchased for a nominal fee by the public at the Municipal District of Opportunity No.17 Office, 2077 Mistassiniy Road, Hamlet of Wabasca, during the hours of 8:30 a.m.to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
