Fritou Restaurant Now Open

June 26, 2014. A new restaurant has opened up in Wabasca in the Bigstone mini-mall. Fritou offers both fried and grilled chicken dishes along with many other options. When asked about the restaurant and what it has to offer, Riyaan Hassen commented that the food is "always made fresh with only the finest ingredients. Our extensive menu selection means there is always something available for the whole family. Come hungry, leave happy." Fritou is a restaurant chain that originated in Montreal. Curious to know how the name "Fritou" relates to chicken in the French language, Hassen explained, "Fritou in French does not translate to anything. It's just a brand name." Be on the lookout for take out menus soon.
