A pleasant afternoon spent on North Wabasca Lake allowed for some nice jackfish.

Fishing is a popular activity on Calling Lake, Rock Island Lake, Sandy Lake, North Wabasca Lake, Chipewyan Lake, Peerless Lake, and Graham Lake.

Species include

• walleye (pickerel)
• northern pike (jack fish)
• lake trout (in Peerless Lake)
• perch
• whitefish
• lingcod
